Sorry for the failure to post yesterday. I was in south Louisiana on vacation with my family and decided to actually be on vacation. While I wasn't completely unplugged, I was sufficiently unplugged enough to enjoy the weather (the azaleas are in bloom), the company, and the food.
So, in honor of the adventure, here is a photo of a gator my husband took a few years ago when we were trekking along the inland waterway in Louisiana. We came upon a "park" south of Lake Charles full of gators. The best part was that the gators roamed freely. Well, we didn't think it was the best part when we were there because this one decided to do a little sunbathing beside the path. He/she was about 12 feet long. Because discretion is surely the better part of valor, we turned around and went the other way only to find another one lounging on the walkway trapping us for a while. It was an interesting day.
